Spring 2022 - Four Week Beginners Workshop Schedule
Week 1 Sunday April 3rd 10am - 3pm.
Morning - Introduction to clay and tools
Assembly of spaghetti jar or kitchen utensils jar using slab method.
Afternoon - Refinement and decoration.
Week 2 Sunday April 10th 10am - 3pm
Morning - Assembly of bird house using pinch pot method.
Afternoon - Refinement and decoration.
Week 3 Sunday April 24th 10am - 3pm
Morning - Design and construction of animal sculpture using various methods.
Afternoon - Continuation of animal sculpture. Decoration.
Week 4 Sunday May 1st 10am - 3pm
All Day - Decorative under glazing and glazing of the three pieces made in weeks 1 - 3.
During this week I will fire all the work in my studio kiln
Week 5 Sunday May 8th 10.30am - 11.30am
Morning - Collection and review of final work.
